Brent is a dedicated advocate with a strong background in both social work and law, bringing compassion and clarity to every stage of the litigation process. His practice focuses primarily on representing individuals who have suffered serious injuries or the loss of a loved one due to the negligence of others—whether through motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall incidents, medical malpractice, or other forms of personal injury. He also has extensive experience with short- and long-term disability claims, statutory accident benefits, and professional negligence cases.

Brent began his professional journey after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from McMaster University in 2003. He then spent nearly a decade working with families in crisis as a Family Service Worker at the Children’s Aid Society of Hamilton. This frontline experience solidified his commitment to supporting individuals during some of the most difficult times in their lives and ultimately inspired his transition into the legal field.

During this time, Brent furthered his academic background by earning a Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Guelph in 2006, followed by a Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario in 2013. He articled with The Morris Law Group and returned to the firm as an Associate following his call to the Bar of Ontario.

Known for his empathetic approach and clear communication, Brent ensures his clients feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout the legal process.

Brent is a member of the Law Society of Ontario (formerly the Law Society of Upper Canada), the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Hamilton Law Association, and the Hamilton Medical-Legal Society.
