Additional Requirements for Health Claims for Auto Insurance and Changes to Certain Accident Benefit Claim Forms

Announced June 21, 2012, the Health Claims for Auto Insurance (HCAI) system has undergone some changes, according to the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO). New accident benefit claim forms have been added to the system while other forms have been revised.

These changes apply to documents delivered on or after November 1, 2012. This means that regardless of the date of an accident, after November 1 you must use these forms and enter the new data required.
